In Person

This immersive, three-day bootcamp gives practitioners hands-on experience with the graphical features of SysML v2 as implemented in the latest CATIA Magic tools. Participants will explore the core structure, syntax, and modeling methods of SysML v2, focusing primarily on creating models through the graphical interface within the CATIA product suite. While the course introduces how graphical models correspond to the SysML v2 textual language, the emphasis is on practical modeling. Through a series of guided exercises, attendees will build the essential skills needed to apply SysML v2 effectively within CATIA Magic, explore key concepts for transitioning from SysML v1 to v2, gain a clear understanding of SysML v2’s value and advantages, and build the foundational skills needed to apply its current capabilities in CATIA Magic for pilot projects and early development efforts.
· Gain insight into the graphical modeling capabilities of SysML v2 supported by CATIA Magic tools
· Differentiate between replicating v1-style modeling and using SysML v2’s graphical approach
· Understand key conceptual and syntax differences between SysML v1 and v2
· Learn how graphical models transition to textual representations in SysML v2
· Build basic SysML v2 graphical and textual models using CATIA Magic products
This course is designed for executives, engineering leads, practitioners, and MBSE champions, organizational modeling process owners responsible for defining digital engineering strategies, for project mangers and systems architects who need to understand the application of the SysML v2 language. assess the impact of transitioning to SysML v2, and organizations exploring or actively planning the migration from SysML v1 to v2 and seeking guidance on best practices for planning, training, and tool integration. It is intended to provide the necessary application of the SysML v2 language in the CATIA Magic tool interface so that the impact of organizational migration from SysML v1 to v2 can be understood before deciding when to make this switch.
It is highly recommended that participants have a strong working knowledge of SysMLv1 and regularly construct SysMLv1 models. This course is geared towards SysMLv1 practitioners who are experienced in making models in the CATIA Magic brand of products. Foundational concepts and tool navigation are not in the scope of this course.
